Care Information for Wholesale and Private-Label Textile Ranges

For a home-textile wholesaler or established private-label brand, care information moves through several hands: supplier, buying team, packaging team, sales channels and the final customer. Every version needs to describe the same approved product.
Build the wording from confirmed product-specific guidance, then check the label and listing proofs against it. A shared collection name is not enough to justify identical care instructions across different constructions.
Connect the instruction to the exact item
Identify the product reference and complete construction. Confirm whether the guidance covers the face, reverse, backing, closures and trims where relevant.
Do not copy a care paragraph across a range merely because the products share a main fibre or appearance.
Preserve the meaning of the confirmed guidance
Use clear language without changing the instruction. If a limit is unclear, ask for clarification rather than supplying your own temperature, timing or method.
A simpler sentence must still communicate the actual requirement. Removing an important qualification can create a different instruction.
Prepare guidance for the intended resale channel
Your wholesale customers need product information they can pass on accurately. Keep the final customer’s care guidance distinct from any separately assessed commercial-laundry requirement; one does not establish the other.
If multiple languages are required, check that they convey the same guidance. Do not allow an old translation to remain attached to a revised instruction.
Reconcile labels, wholesale sheets and resale listings
Compare the wholesale product sheet, label or accompanying information, listing copy and relevant customer guidance. Resolve contradictions before the item is presented as ready for sale or service.
Use the same product reference and version so later updates can be traced.
Try a reader check
Ask someone unfamiliar with the item to explain what the guidance permits, what it rules out and where a question remains. If the answer depends on guessing, improve the wording from verified information.
Care symbols and labelling systems have their own applicable rules. Do not invent symbols or treat a text rewrite as a complete compliance review.
For Casa enquiries, request care guidance for the selected design and explain any commercial-laundry requirement early. Unresolved care information should remain a visible approval question.
Use Casa’s cushion-cover designs to identify the product references relevant to your enquiry.
